What is DC Fan?
DC fans are those that run on direct current. DC axial fans and DC cross-flow fans exist alongside AC axial fans. DC axial fans are widely used in air vent exhaust, electronic device cooling, computer ventilation, and other applications. The operating mechanisms of AC fans and DC fans, on the other hand, make a significant difference in the power consumption and output of industrial fans.

The primary advantage of AC fans over DC fans is that they provide continuous airflow with no fluctuations or interruptions. As a result, these fans are found in AC outlets, ventilation systems, and hot air exhausts.
Are DC fans better than AC Fans?
DC fans, on the other hand, have several advantages over AC fans. Despite being a newer technology than AC, these fans use 50–70% less power, regardless of whether they are DC axial or DC cross-flow fans.
When the fan is operating under over-heat conditions, electromagnetic interference is reduced.
The DC fans are water- and dust-resistant, making them ideal for sensitive industrial applications.
