Berg Strip is a type of connector that can be found on all types of circuit boards. It is also known as Berg Stick due to its stick-like structure.
The Berg Strip is small and light, making it easy to connect to a circuit board. One of the main advantages of the Berg Strip is that, unlike other connectors, the connector module can be customized to the designer's liking. The Burg Strip is easily cut into pieces with the necessary PINs and arranged in a single row or row and column fashion. The Berg Strip has long been a favorite of circuit designers due to its freedom.
They are designed for dependability and quick assembly. They are also very cheap connectors. Berg strips can transmit both power and data.
Almost every circuit module, including GSM modules, GPS modules, Xbee modules, LCD modules, and circuit boards, uses Berg strip.
Berg strips are available in male and female connectors, and each has a predetermined number of pins. The designer then removes all but the necessary pins and connects them to the circuit board. It can also be used as a wire-to-board connector; simply solder one of the connector pins to the wire and secure the other connector to the circuit board. It can also function as a wire-to-wire connector if we solder wires to the pins on both sides of the pair. They are commonly used as board-to-board connectors, with the male connector soldered around the perimeter of the circuit board and the female connector assembled wherever another board is to be connected.
Types of Berg strips available:
40x1 Female Berg Strip
This is a 40x1 Pin Female Break Away Header with an industry-standard spacing of 2.54mm that is intended for direct soldering into printed circuit boards. They are best for extending the pins of microcontrollers and ICs.
This 40x1 Berg Strip Female Connector is intended for use with custom PCBs or general-purpose custom headers. This connector can be cut to the length required. This pin header is an ideal connector for PCB boards and integrated circuits, which are commonly used in computers and breadboards. It has a pitch of 2.54 (the distance between two pins).
This 40-pin connector with a 2.54mm pitch can be used with any of our LCD, OLED, or VFD modules, as well as any PCB that requires pin headers.
40x1 Male Berg (90 Degree)
This is a 40x1 Pin Male Right Angle Break Away Header with an industry-standard spacing of 2.54mm that is intended for direct soldering into printed circuit boards. They are best for extending the pins of microcontrollers and ICs.
This 40x1 Berg Strip Male Right Angle Connector is designed for use with custom PCBs and general custom headers. This connector can be cut to the length required. The size of the header pins should match the size of the header holes; otherwise, the connection will be loose and easy to loosen. To achieve the actual number of needles used, it can be cut according to different needle number requirements. Choose the header based on the number of pins and pin spacing required, and insert it directly into the breadboard to connect or form a connector with the header to achieve the connection purpose.
